I can be a very complex person and consider myself an eclectic spiritualist. I also consider myself a good friend and will do my best to help friends in any situation. However, I am very picky with my friends and can sometimes be VERY hard to approach and get to know. But once you do, watch out. Most people have been surprised by the actual me and not the things I just show to acquaintances. They have remained my friends anyhow.

I work full time at the local hospital as a Patient Registrar. In 2003 I began taking college courses to better myself, and graduated in 2008 with a Laboratory Technology Associates degree. I hope to get a job in the lab soon.
I grew up around many animals and they have been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. At 13 I found a new animal that I wanted with my whole being. The next door neighbors had shown up with one and I immediately fell in love. She was a ferret. So, of course when a kid wants something what’s to be done? Go to the parents and beg! I did. I begged mom with my whole heart. But before mom would let me she wanted to talk to someone “knowledgeable” so she called a local vet (very loveable guy) and he did not recommend ferrets as pets. Pish!! So of course I wasn’t allowed to get one. By the age of 16, my obsession with ferrets had only become worse so finally I wore mom down and she gave in and I got one for my 16th birthday. Currently I don’t have any ferrets as they only live 6-8 years and it is too hard to hard when they cross the
When I am at home, I am normally found in sweats and NO makeup. Jeans, t-shirts, or sweatshirts will be worn if it is a shopping, errand, etc. Scrubs are worn to work, usually with a long sleeved shirt underneath my scrub top and my favorite shoes of all time – Dansko clogs http://zeta.zappos.com/product/121214/color/10373. If going out with my husband for a night on the town, I dress with a slightly gothic flair.
My favorite singer is Elvis and has been since I was 11. I got my first “non Christian” (my parents were fanatics ‘one still is’) tape of music when I was 15 and it was Elvis’s Golden Records. I also enjoy Evanescence, Meatloaf and ACDC.
My movie interest includes all of them. My all time favorites are sci fi (new/old), vampire, and any paranormal movies. I also enjoy comedies (some of them), thrillers, action, adventure, etc. I love Jim Carrey, Christopher Lambert, Michael Greyeyes, Joaquin Phoenix, Viggo Mortensen, Johnny Depp, James Spader, William Shatner and Christopher Walken.
I love books, books, and more books. I like any subject and many authors. I am not a big fan of series because I have to wait for the next installment and I generally am not a patient person. Here are some series that I am currently reading and love despite the fact that I have to wait on them.

In November of 2007 I met my Soulmate and in October of 2008, on Halloween, we were handfasted. Be sure to visit my Handfasting page where you can see us in our finery.
